Your current plan must let you leave on terms you can accept, and the new pharmacy must approve you in time. You are a new customer at any pharmacy you have not used. Start before your next payment date and do the sums first. ## When your first-order discount ends, compare again Your first order was discounted. Your next order costs the repeat price. Staying at the higher price is a fresh decision. Compare again, ask your pharmacy for a better quote and check the plan still fits your budget. Start before your next payment date. A new pharmacy needs a new consultation and your honest treatment history. Leave time for evidence, health questions and delivery. ## Do not pay full price to reward a referrer Count a referral as a saving only when you get a confirmed benefit and the final price is competitive. A normal price elsewhere may still be lower. Referral offers are for new customers, so use a friend’s link for a pharmacy you have not used. Include any confirmed exit fee, an old order you cannot stop and any new fees you must pay. Leave out your first discount. You used it on an order you have already paid for. Compare from today. Here is an example with invented figures. A £200 repeat quote against a £155 quote for the same order suggests £45 saved. If leaving adds a £60 fee, you pay £15 more over that period. These figures are not quotes from a named provider. Ask whether leaving triggers an extra payment, the loss of a conditional discount or a charge for the current order. - Get a full quote. Get a like-for-like quote from the new pharmacy. Ask what evidence it needs and how long approval takes. - Plan for no gap in treatment. Agree this with the prescriber. Never change doses or leave a gap to use a code. - Cancel and keep proof.
